3 2010 new sport tires
BIKE had a brief go in the 3 new sports tires: Sportsmart, M5 and Power Pure. Not a bad thing to report about them, but they say that Sportsmart is outstanding in the wet.
PS: Dunlop claim that performed longevity tests: Sportsmart achieved 100% (rather expected, he he) whilst 2CT managed 84% of the distance to the wear limits, the Pure 80%, the Diablo 68% and poor old 016 just 61%. Me? M5 what else?

Wonder why they didn't include the BT-003's? I would have been interested in their opinion on them.

After a very poor experience with Dunlop Roadsmart tires, and having great experiences with Michelin Pilot Power and PP2 tires, I'd try the Power Pure tires long before the Sportsmarts.
I put on Roadsmarts just before traveling to the '09 MOA Rally in Tn. On return to home, 4K miles later, they were very bad. They came off and the PP2 went on.

Ditto on the Roadsmarts, they never inspired confidence when riding agressively. I did get about 5k out of them on my ZX-14 but switched to BT016's & was much happier with their feel & traction. Been running Pilot Powers on my 1100S for awhile & they are exceptional in all situations.
