But my 3rd cousins, father in law's twin brother twice removed had one of those special carburetors on his pick up truck and was getting 70 mpg, until he got a recall notice, after he took it in he was told the factory made a mistake and gave him a prototype carb with a special framistan.
After he got it back he never got more than 20 mpg.............the oil companies are behind it, I am sure ![]() ![]()

Well...you're not that far off.......greed is truly the root of all evil and is in full flower in the oil industry, amongst many others....just saying.
I'm getting my umbrella out now......

Hey capitalism at its finest, and if they did not horde all the $$, who will pay for the oil clean up...............Oh yea, the same ones that buy the gas.sucks to be low man on the Totem Pole.

how about a 300+ mpg car
376.59 MPG Car Found In Museum (It Was Built In 1959) : Gas 2.0 only 30 mph on a closed track .. but still. High mileage stuff from years gone by... 376 MPG in 1973! : Ecoscraps
