There's a comfort inn in Mariposa, too. Only about 20 miles from Oakhurst. Looks good in the photo and might be a nice change. A bit cheaper. We've been thru there several times.

I might come out and play again for this ride. A couple of the Tahoe boys might join me.

Jeff, what qualifies one for this Z rated patch. Exceeding the Z tyre rated speed?

of course these riders are experienced,(among the core 8 i would guess their is at least 250 years of combined experience). but its more than riding fast, its being able to ride safely at our pace and get along with the BS that comes with a group that enjoy lots of different facets of life and expressing it to their friends,(ex. tuna, loves sheep , just kidding ). for Holen she reads roads well as has a great teacher in wheelie boy. she rides hard and gives as good as she takes in group banter. My only reservation that i expressed to the her and the group was that if she got a patch she would have to stand to pee![]() ![]() jeff

Let's just say it this way, Bubba... the slogan for the "Z" boys is:
"Just another motorcycle club... only faster!" Or to say it with the words of another rider "If I so much as THINK about lifting the front wheel in the group, I get passed"...

Thank you, Jeff... I felt very comfortable the last time out.
The roads and the lead bike always helps a great deal. It was pure fun, riding in your area!

HA Jeff, NZ is the same as everywhere else when you pee...gravity takes over!.Although you do have to watch out for falling buildings!I thought about Yosemite but have just come back from a m/c trip to Colorado with Susan. Her family vacationed out there and we joined them, great open roads out there. We did a ton of bicyling, they open up the ski fields with bike trails , you go up with the bike on the chairlift and follow the trails down damn scary at times!.We will have to come up your way soon...have lost our accomodations up there with Ivan bolting the country...booohooo.Seems he blew up his bike and had to leave lol
Ralf, we just had last weekend in Lake Isabella and did a ton of riding, up to the Sequoia national park, rode through Milo,Springville,Glenville,White river etc had lunch at the Ponderosa .Some great roads out there.110 degrees in Lake Isabella though. The weather should be cooling a little now so we can hit Pine Mountain and the 33 again, you should come up sometime there is floor space here.Still have sailboat?
