My R1200S will hit the rev limiter in top gear and has done it several times.

Straight flat road generally in the 40's F OAT. No wind about 7,800 ft elevation.

YOWZA how are you getting a 107mm bore? There must not be much liner left?

161HP seems pretty competitive!

Frank, can the series clutch withstand the higher power, or do you need to upgrade that as well.

Sometimes, when wound out in 3rd and power shifting to 4th I get the feeling I am overpowering the clutch as the revs will rise too quickly and I back off. This has happened a few times but I can't seem to reproduce it. I wonder if I am just spinning the tire?

the clutches make no problems. only the fat cat anti-hopping clutches like the more torque not.
