Is that enough of a leak to drip onto the exhaust? Rocker cover or?
Hope its an easy fix! Cheers

I would carefully inspect the oil cap on that cylinder. Evidence in the photo shows oil coming from above that area. Once it gets to the bottom, air flow around there when riding can spread it out.

I suspect the head gasket. Have new ones ordered. But the filler cap will get worked over too.
Cleaning everything, doing an oil change and then going for a ride when the rain stops. Gonna see where this is coming from.

After looking at that same area on my bike I think it may well be the head gasket. The oil filler is located more outboard of where the oil is appearing. The head gasket is located where the oil seepage is occurring.

![]() Bought this a few years ago. This is Jezebel. Turned Alison into a parts bike. Still have the speed hump/smuggler thing. Will get it repainted eventually.

I don't think it's the head gasket. I think it's the gasket under that black cap. I've had a leak there. Ten-minute fix.

What thing are you referring to? The tube is the battery vent, if you are using a lead acid/agm battery.

That’s what that is. There’s no hole in the battery so I guess it just hangs there.
