Anyone run an 1100s long term with a lithium?,had one on my SM for well on the way to 4 years and it's worked well,tried similar on my Tiger and the charging system really spat it's dummy out later found out the after market Reg/Rec was not to be used such.

Just put one in mine about 3-4 months ago, I'll get back to you on it in 3-4 years. Actually I now have the same Deltran 240ah battery in all 3 bikes. They seem to take less care & I only throw them on the battery tender if they've sat for a month or more just to top them off. The oldest is only a 11/2 years old so no long term testing here yet. I do like how much faster they start up all my bikes.

Mine is 3 1/2 years old in a 12s. I've accidentally completely discharged it 3-4 times. Juiced it with a regular lead acid battery charger for 2 - 3 minutes, restarted the bike and rode it to completely recharge it. I don't put it on a tender. I have not been babying it.

It will probably catch on fire tomorrow now that I said all this.

Have Shorais in 4 bikes so far...for just about one year.
Shorai chargers on all.
Nothing to report so far other than all is well.
The first Shorai on my R11S died after a few months and Shorai replaced it and it's charger free of charge.
They wanted to see my invoice/receipt.
I still had both boxes...sent it all back in original packaging.

I also have shorais in 4 bikes, soon to be five, two of the battery's are three years old and one is four years, all are doing great sometimes sitting for five or six month's at a time and still fire right up, just ordered another thank's to Don Ro but I had to use SUMMER20 as the code to get the discount .

You are one of the few to figure out the Sequim drizzle, most move here assuming the low rain fall and blue hole mean sunshine , some leave but most stay, our population has been growing by leaps and bounds the last several years .

A retirement community...and a beautiful one.
I was staggered by the high real estate prices back in '08...seemed to be inflated.
I traveled to and bought a place in Scottsdale, AZ instead.
More value for the same price. More torrid heat but the 7 months of winters are paradise.
