I'm sort of new to the Z3 world. I bought a 98 Z3 in April with 34K on the odometer. I'm nearing the time to take it in for an oil change, and I was told that it was time for my "Inspection II" ($598) as well as a brake fluid change ($96). My question is are these really necessary? That's a lot of money to pay for a car with less than 40K on it. What exactly do they do for $598 and can it be done anyplace other than a BMW dealership? Any help, comments, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Yes, part of owning any car is maintaining it.
I have a list of all the items performed in the inspection service, if ou want to save a bit, you can do it all yourself, it's actually pretty easy. If you send me your email address, I can send you the list. |
