New track arms make a huge difference
I just replaced my track arms. They were so easy to replace, if any shop charges over 1 hour of labor to replace them, they are taking you for a ride. I pulled and replaced both of mine in less than an hour without ever having done them before.
No more clacky noises now. |
What is a track arm?

Yeah, what are you calling a track arm?
I don't believe a Boxster has a track arm. A track arm is a specific unit that's a part of a different sort of front suspension like on a Jeep or old Bronco. Maybe tie-rod or tie-rod-end? |

Track arms, aka Control arm link? Part # 986-331-043-07? I have driven several Boxster's and they ALL make that little but annoying clacky noise coming from the rear. I have R&Red the "control arms" a couple times with NO difference. As well as other rear suspension parts. I assumed it's just part of the cars normal quirks?? I am very interested to fix that little "Clacky" noise. Please ID the part you had susses with. |
