2000 Boxster S Roof Wont Open

Yesterday my 2000 Boxster S soft top would not open. I had the car parked, ignition on, parking break set { parking break indicator light on). When I opened the roof latch the windows dropped. When I depressed the switch to open the roof nothing happened and there was no sound of a clicking relay or any other sounds. Any Ideas?

I visually inspected the 30 amp fuse in D3 location and it looked in tact

I just went an reinspected the instrument cluster and realized that the parking breaak warning light is not illuminating when the break is set.

Try resetting the e-brake? Otherwise sounds like it's time to get a new brake switch.

Garage
it's most likely the microswitch in the top latch. I replaced mine and the top works fine now. Same symptoms as yours.
