removing and re-installing a Boxter engine

I have a 1999 and a 2001 Boxster. I want to hire a shop to remove the engine from the 2001 Boxster and install it into the 1999 Boxster. If I had to pay someone to do this, roughly what would this cost?

A lot, because the 2001 uses a different DME and CAN Bus technology, which the 1999 does not have.
