Coolant Light on dash is slowly blinking upon starting the car cold and stays on. Temp stays about 185. Car has not been run for about 15 months until now as I just replaced AOS finally. previously had coolant changed by a reputable shop.I ordered a new OEM Reservoir cap from pelican but wondering if there is supposed to be pressure in the system as when I remove the cap there is a hiss of pressure release when the car has been at normal operating temp.
Thanks in advance for the help. |

Short answer is yes. Not sure why you are getting the blinking light. Maybe they didn't properly purge the air from the system when they did the service.

If it was a problem with the wiring to the reservoir sensor wouldn't that cause a steady warning light as opposed to a blinking one?
Thanks |
