noise coming from center console with power off
 

Twice in the past 2 months I have had loud lower frequency intermittent "static" noises coming from my lower center console. It sounded like what you might hear with an intermittent contact on a bass speaker. It would start after an hour of driving and would continue on even after turning the car off and removing the key. The last time I recorded it on my cell phone.

Anyone know if there is a Bose subwoofer is in the center console ? Any other suggestions ?

Anyone know how or has a link on how to disassemble the console ?

I'm sure you checked, that nothing is plugged into the 12v outlet in there and the one in the passengers footwell.
