Check to see all your coil packs connectors are seated.

coil packs

have checked the seating of plugs on coils, unfortunatly, a plastic clip on the front one snapped off. am thinking the rubber seal , and protective boot, will hold for now. are they replaceable. or does that part of the harness now need to be changed? next a run and a scan. also can coils be checked with a meter?

You need to change the harness connector end, or it will happen again.

coil pack clip

the clip breaking was not the root cause, of the problem. it happened, when doing coils and plugs. the misfires occured before and after all the above work. next step is to check ground,s and a new batterey, i think seven years old , its time to go.

has anyone had any experience, changing, the coil connecters, it appears they have to be spliced in to the harness.
