How much actual difference in wind noise and buffering does the middle panel make?
I have the roll bar screens only.

will a 987 piece fit 986? I cant seem to find the 986 models at any decent price.

No idea on the model difference, but you could borrow one from someone’s 986, take to to a glass shop, and have them replicate it.
