987.2 shift cables/brackets upgrade
Has anyone done the install for the Porsche upgraded shift cables and brackets for 987.2? Bracket PNs 981 424 023 00 and 987 424 065 01
Looking to avoid the usual "gotchas" before I dive into my '11 Spyder. Thanks, Joe |

The one thing I do remember is that removing the trim panels from the sides of the radio requires a specific motion so you don’t break the tabs, this is according to the shop that does the work on my car. I had my shifter changed but I haven’t had the cables changed yet, thats next. I would be interested in hearing how it goes when you install it.
