07 Cayman S new vibration
Hi,
So before I put her away for winter, I noticed my Cayman had a new vibration which looks to be driveline, so I ordered new motor mounts to see if that will fix it (60k miles). But this got me wondering if I should do the tranny mounts too? I know the older motor mounts are a weak point, but what about the tranny mounts? Cheers

well.. 60K miles.. 15 years old.. Rubber mounts don't last forever. Under what driving conditions do you notice this new vibration? Acceleration? Braking? Crusing? Quick throttle mashes? shifting? Cornering?

I just noticed it at idle. This was before putting it away for winter so I didn't get a chance to drive it or investigate it.

Follow-up: it was an idler pulley, I replaced the motor mount anyway.
