981 PDK noise
 

I have a 2014 981 Cayman with PDK. Since I have owned it I have noticed a noise in first gear at slow speed. Sounds like shhhsk shhhsk sorry that's the only way I can describe it. It's not very loud and only at a slow steady speed. When I let off the gas it stops so its not drive line noise. Wondering if this is normal.

How many miles? Has it ever been serviced? Do you track it? Some more context is needed.

Hi, thanks for the response. The car has 50K miles never been tracked. Because I live 250 miles from a dealer I so my own oil changes brake fluid changes etc. The car was a Porsche Certified vehicle when I bought it at 30K miles. I thought I would try to get some feedback before taking it to the dealer.

I don’t think it’s normal, if it’s hasn’t been serviced I think you should do that cause it’s very important to service when needed
