1998 Boxter 986 leak at rear CV Axel upon hub replacement

I have a 1998 Boxster and I had to replace my passenger CV shaft along with my bearings in my hub. So I just purchased a low mileage hub and shaft. I worked on it for some time one day then the next day I noticed fluid leaking from where the cv shaft attaches to the rear end(I assume). It’s atleast a quart or more that has leaked out. I have pictures attached. Can anyone PLEASE lead me in the right direction???? I didn’t even finish the hub installation once I say that fluid all over the floor today. Please , any help would be greatly appreciated.
