A/C compressor clutch replacement
 

Good day.

I’m wondering if anyone has replaced the clutch on the Denso A/C compressor used in the 986 Boxster (mine is an 03 base w/ 5 speed). Mine is getting noisy, and I’d rather not R&R the entire compressor if I don’t have to.

If so, how does it attach to the compressor shaft? I took a look at it the other day, and that is not readily apparent to me.

Awesome. Given that the clutch seems to cost more than a new compressor, this will be top of my list…
