Chasing a P0455 Code

Hello Everyone - I haven't posted for a while. My '98 ate its engine. So after a year and a half, I've got a new engine installed and have been enjoying driving it once again! However, I'm chasing a P0455 error code. I've installed a new gas cap (OEM), fuel tank bleeder valve, and fuel filler housing. I'm wondering two things: 1) am I missing a fuel filler neck seal of some kind (I still get a whistle)? 2) Please see the attached pics of the fuel level sending unit. It seems very suspect. I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts. Thank you!

P0455 is a major leak in the tank ventilation system; as there are multiple components, instead of randomly swapping out parts, get the car smoke tested, which will pinpoint the exact problem(s) area (s).
