Boxster Brake Calipers?
So, I am at the end of a build of a 1971 VW Camper van with a 3.2 911 engine (PMO carbs etc etc
We have built front and rear ends to use Boxster brakes and all fits and works but now I want to rebuild the calipers. A few years ago when I was collecting parts I bought a set of Boxster S brakes which were too big to fit inside the wheels so then bought what I thought were Boxster (non-S) calipers that fit. I am trying to figure what model of calipers they are so I can order rebuild kits. The part numbers on the calipers do not seem to be porsche part numbers (maybe Brembo?). When I search for part numbers they dont quite line up? What I do know is the following: Piston sizes: Fronts 39.9 35.9 Rears 29.9 27.8 And here are some pics. Can anyone identify them and if possible, let me know good places to get rebuild parts? |

The 986.351.421 is a Porsche part number for the front left caliper. Rebuild kits are available from Pelican.

So, I have all the parts on order - I think. Do these calipers require anti vibration shims?
