Some trimming on the length will be needed to match up the core support, but the width is perfect..

Factory pinch points are the same width. This is going to be easier than I thought. The boxster fits right inside the golf.

As you can see the boxster inner structure pretty much matches up from a width perspective. I will need to shrink and stretch new "A" pillar supports. I'm currently building a cage so it will be easy to match it all back up and give it the structural integrity it needs.. The nose will need about 8" removed as well as a core support built to bring back it's integrity. I'll most likely be using a single large radiator slanted to allow crossflow to go through a vented hood and into the wheel wells to allow down force and brake cooling. Thanks for watching. Be sure to share with your friends..

The car was purchased at an Illinois auto auction. The car was drivable, but had an Illinois "red" title and could not be put back on the road. I just decided to build a sleeper to give it another run on the road. I only have $1800 in it at the moment.

I have the seats forwards welding lightly into the car and squared up. The car steers and rolls. I am looking for information to establish the best location to put the rear suspension in at this time i.e. caster, camber, etc.
I am going to start another thread for the information that I need. The title of this thread I unfortunately feel keeps people from joining in.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Awesome! I love hatchbacks and shooting brakes. This reminds me of a Shooting break 944 I saw in an old issue of Excellence. Soooo cool!
