Skid plate?
Anyone using some type of skid plate for the front end of car? I have to be extra careful when backing out of driveway any bounce at the gutter line will get a little scrape.

Sliplo bumper scrape protector
I installed one of their protectors on my '06 987CS, but concluded that it would not work on my 981CS. YMMV.

It sounds like a skid plate would be a smart move to protect the front of your car, especially if you're dealing with scraping when backing out or encountering uneven driveways. I checked out Scrape Armor, and they seem like a solid option for cars that need extra protection from scrapes and impacts.

Could you put a board at the junction of the driveway and the street to lessen the suddenness of the transition?
