2004 Boxster Transmission pops out of gear

Purchased a new 2004 Boxster S. From the beginning difficulty changing into lower gears (1-3) and popped out of 2nd. Have replaced trans 3 x within less then 1000 miles. Car has less then 6K miles. Continued problem with third factory rebuilt trans. Others have similar problems with transmissiions in 2004 Boxster S????

it almost sounds as simple as a shifting cable that's just too tight. I recently replaced the shifter in my car with the B&M short shifter, and I'll probably have to make some adjustments...it almost feels like the shifter just barely sticks in gear.

Replaced the shifter cables twice. Now replaced transmission for third time. Now it pops out of first when engaged and accelerating, when it is at operating temperatures. Somewhat rough, not smooth, in lower three gears shifting. Smooths out somewhat when at operating temperatures.

You are a canidate for the lemon law. Take the car back and make them give you a new one.
