17" Twist Wheels
I have just purchased an '02 Boxster S with only 8k miles. The car has 17" twist wheels on it. I've already purchased 18" Classic Carrera wheels for it, so these are for sale. They come with Michelin Pilot Sport tires with maybe 60% tread life.
Any interest out there or do I go to eBay? J Matta Chicago Region PCA Member |

I believe after looking at the selection/pricing on eBay (High $1600-Low $600) that around $800 for the set plus shipping would be reasonable. The rims are very nice, as the pic shows (reflective of all). Includes center caps. The tires are actually better than 60%, but "rubber is rubber" and is expendable. I will need to check into shipping; I have several friends that have shipped wheel/tire combos for pretty reasonable prices. I would not charge any add ons like handling, etc. I will be out of town the later part of this week and couldn't ship until next week. I'll be happy to supply more pics when I can.
Feel free to PM me or email at jgmatta@msn.com

I think they are called Boxster S wheels and came out when the Boxster S first came out for model year 2000.

My car is high. Wheels shouldn't make a difference, as you said, because of the side wall ratio. As soon as I can, I'll take it to my P-Car doctor (Sol @ PerfectPower) and have it fixed. I'll repost when it's done. Thanks...
