996 Turbo Front Bumper?
Pelican sells a 996 Front Turbo Bumper (see below)
Front Bumper Cover, Primed, 996 Turbo (2001-04), Each Brand: OEM [Photo] 996-505-311-05-G2X-M321 My question is: does this bumper bolt on to a 2001 Boxster without any modifications? If not, what mod would be needed? Thanks |

Yes, it bolts on as long as you use the other parts with it. There was a recent post on this same subject with all the items listed. The '02-'04 996 F Fenders & Lights are the major parts in addition to the Bumper & Ducting. I think it looks cool, though I opted for the GT3 F Bumper as less cost with a unique look. Cheers, Len

I ended up buying the conversion parts from Precision Porsche. Tony Ugas was very helpful. I went with the Turbo look bumper and T/A sideskirts (like the Boxster in the picture) I also used a combination of 2 different wings. All together the parts cost about $2000. I fittted the parts and they are in the body shop being painted now. Paint is costing another $800.
I'm doing all the labor of fitting and instaloing once painted. I'll post pictures when I'm done. http://www.precisionporsche.com/boxkit.html |
