Happy with your Boxster?

Are you guys happy with your Boxster?

Considering buying one, and some of these posts are scarying me a bit. I want this car as a daily driver. Is this puppy going to be in the shop constantly? I know no one has a crystal ball.....

Not wanting to jinx myself but I love my 02 S. Stay away from the early cars but short of that you'll love the car.

I don't want to jinx myself either so I'll keep this short...I've never been back to the dealer since the car left the lot 15k miles and almost 3 yrs ago. I've had a smile on my face since. Biggest problem was a slight clutch squeak that i haven't messed with because it is so minor to me. No regrets here...

I would say get as new as you can afford, I bought my wife a 1999, I had to put a starter in it, upgraded steering lock/ignition switch, radiator filler bottle, battery...but I like to work on car's, but my Testarossa is easier to work on, you can see the engine in that! I also have a lift at my house, without that it would be tough! Having said all that, my wife loves the car, and so do I, very fun handling car, with enough power when you need it.
Life is short, I would say go for it, you will be happy!!
