Antifreeze smell

I am looking at a 2002 S that has an antifreeze smell in the cabin. The car just went through a CPO so everything is in great shape, and I really want it bad so my judjement is a bit flawed, is the smell something to worry about? I was wondering if it was a leak in the heater or just something that got on the exhause during the last service.

Thanks

Thom

Common problem is leaky coolant bottle. If you can, look under rear trunk carpet for coolant, although for leaky coolant bottle it does not have to be leaking into the trunk. Mine did not, but there was a little on the ground.
