Any experience with high mileage Boxsters?
Reason I ask is that I was looking at a recent listing and the seller said that the car had 32k with alot of life left on it AS THE ENGINE IS GOOD TILL ABOUT 100K...fistly, what a dumb way to try and sell a car by telling the prospective buyer it'll crap out in 60k+ but secondly, my Boxster has 92k on the odometer and this has me wondering...anyone have any experiences well into the 100k range with theirs? Pardon the typos, it's late

Quite a few on PPBB with 150-160-170k+
Adn many of them drive DEs regularly.
It seems that M96 motors either: die prematurely are poorly treated - all bets off are well treated and run a long, long, time Grant |

boxsters and high mileage
thanks for the response. Now don't get me wrong, my boxster has certainly not delivered the reliability of my 911sc (or my bmws for that matter) but it is still a fun car for the money and I would like to hang onto it as it is mint in appearance and with 92k on the clock, seems to still pull like no tomorrow.
