Boxster turn signal malady

2000 Boxster.
Seems my turn signal and emer. flashers quit. This morning then the worked... now over lunch not working.
Fuse?
Short?
What?

Path to determine will likely be change out fuse first but the intermittent nature concerns me.

First thing I would check is the turn signal/emergency flasher relay.

Next is the switch for the emergency flashers, as the turn signals run throught that switch.

It looks like my left rear turn light is on (bright) as if it went on to flash but never went out. Could a burned out bulb be a cause of the situation I'm having?

It's soooo cold here in Minnesota I broke down and had the local Porsche dealer look at this issue. 10 minutes in seems the emergency flasher switch is kaput! Now if they just had one in stock! None in town anywhere so I have to wait for the UPS delivery to get it replaced. Hope there are no emergencies ;-)

Thanks for the help. Mike
