60K service cost?
I'm looking at an '01 boxster which is within a few thousand miles of needing the scheduled 60K service. Is there anyone out there who's had it done and can give me a ballpark cost for it? In this case, the car would most likely be taken to a dealership for the service, but I'd be interested to hear of prices charged at independent shops as well. TIA

call around. try Beck's Independent porsche 602 997 6572, then compare to dealer.

I called the dealer in San Diego, Ca and they were right around $1100.00. I ended up going with an independent Porsche shop (Black Forest) and it was around $800.00
