Cool New-to-me 2002 Boxster S

Sorry, I can't contain myself. I've gained a lot from being on the 944 board the last few years and lurking here, but haven't had too much to add.

Tomorrow I am picking up a 2002 S. Here are some pics fom the seller.

I'm also looking at a 2002 Boxster 2.7. Any known issues with the 2002 model?

Lots of good info on this board and the Rennlist Boxster boards. Overall the post 2000 cars are probably the best buys, with each year a little better than the last. Be sure to get a thorough PPI!

Looks like a nice car; my buddy has the same wheels on his '02 S (b**ch to clean). I've had my '02 S for a few years now and enjoy it thoroughly. Only slightly modified (lowered, hi-flow, short shift, cat pipes and sport exhaust), I enjoy driving this as much as my 911 track car. Taking it to the Road America vintage races this weekend for a little top down enjoyment, weather permitting. I guess it has to get a little dirty sometimes!

Like Doug said, lots of information out on the various boards, including www.986forum.com
