Has anyone used the new Sumitomo HTR Z 111 tire that Tire Rack sells ?
I was considering it because of their track rating and the price.......

The regular HTR Z is much better and cheap , best tire for the money .

Just received a set of HTR111 from Tire Rac, they came in about 3 days, the service was excellent. Had Tire Kingdom mount and balence them, they advised they could not beat that price. Well worth the money.

I've got some of these on my 964. I probably wouldn't have tried them, but I got them for free, and will probably stick with them when I need to get new ones.

I was aware of their low cost, but for free... that's even better.

I've had them on my 06 Boxster S for a couple of months and even had them at the track once. Great tires. Not quite as grippy as PS2's (not surprising since they have a tread wear of 300 vs. the PS's 200) but they feel great. And, cost half of the PS2!

Excellent summer tire.

The only downside I have noticed is that these tires tend to get loud halfway through their life span
