"Burnt Orange" ????

Ran across this car on the 'net. Not a bad deal, depending on all the usual caveats.

But "Burnt Orange"? Is this an actual color, or just a slightly faded Guards Red? I think there was an "Signal Orange" on early cars, but that was really orange. I kind of like the look of this one.

That’s Zanzibar orange.
Not many around in that color.

The only other orange was used on the 2008 Special Edition Boxsters.

Zanzibar

Guard’s red, Zanzibar and Special Ed Orange

Asking for the paint code from the hood sticker would help identify it as well.

Yup that is Zanzibar. I have an 01s in that color. I love it since you certainly don't see it every day. Funny the touch up paint I bought from the dealer called it burnt orange mica (and matches), but the code says zanzibar.

Technically, Zanzibar Red (not orange). Great color. Nice car. I'd jump all over it were it local!
