Thursday's Daily Boxster Tip...
If you're working in the engine compartment for an extended period of time, you can take the clamshell and disconnect it and push it back towards the front of the car. Then you can lock it in place in that position using two screwdrivers. For about a week after working on the car for the first time (a bunch of years ago), I didn't realize this, and that clamshell always got in my way. When you reattach it, becareful that it doesn't fall on your rear decklid, as it will dent it (learn from my mistake here). -Wayne |
