Worn Brakes

2001 Boxster, the worn brake light comes on when brakes are depressed, this doesn't happen all the time and will go off.

I've had the brakes checked and all seems ok
, what should I look for?

The warning lamp may also detect a condition of loss of pressure in one of the halves of the brake hydraulic system. I would bleed the entire brake system and see if that fixes the problem. See my article on this here:
