Need help finding parking light receptacle
 

The plastic parking light receptacle on my 01 Boxster S has deteriorated. I have been searching for a replacement but it appears unavailable. Hopeful some one has found a fix or may be willing to sell one out of a crushed lintronics assembly. Will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks

I had a similar problem on another car. I was using too high a wattage.

You should be able to buy what you need from a dismantler. From what I see on PET, it is the same whether you have Litronics or not.

Exactly, went to a little halogen and done. Now I am installing some bright little LEDs, so no worries. Found a receptacle at NAPPA, with the help of a very nice woman. She got a good tip for finding the part. Had to cut the plastic off but until I can get the correct part it works for now.
