CV joint dust cap removal?

I have torn a CV joint boot on the inner right side. I have disconnected the joint from the transmission but cannot see where the dust cap removes from the CV to give access to the circlip.
I have looked at Waynes tech article (thanks Wayne) but there are no photos of the cap removed or where you split it apart.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, as I don't want to destroy the cap on removal.
Thanks.
Dave.

OK, Now this seems a silly question as the dust cap came off easily with a tap.

Was still a good question. Some times thing seem like they would just pop off and don't and other time thinks seem like the do not come off and do. Hey was helping my in-law work on his new Mustang GT. We were trying to remove the dust cap on the front hub. It was plastic so I the great mechanic that I am was being carful not to break it. Looked a bit closer and printed right on the plastic. Do not remove do not adjust. Close one. Never hurts to ask.
