Wayne, do you know exact the fuse diagram for boxster s 2002?
Bentey manual says it's similar to 2001, but that'all it says, the book doesn't have diagram for 2002.
I did an "emergency unlocking from luggage front compartment lid", and I found that there were few fuses missing...
sadly, I didn't notice anything strange before.

There should be a few fuses missing, as those are for optional equipment that are probably not installed. There should be a fuse chart pamphlet tucked on the inside of the door. Each year was slightly different from the previous year. I ordered one from Porsche when mine was missing - I'll have Scott put these in the catalog too. They are very useful.

If everything is working fine, then I wouldn't worry about the missing fuses - they are probably for SAT nav, or heated seats, or something like that.

Here's what I came up with for part numbers for this fuse booklet:

986-610-217-00 (1997 thru VIN 98VS6 01006)
986-610-217-01 (1997 from VIN 98VS6 01007)
996-610-217-01 (1998-1999 same as above)
996-610-217-02 (2000)
996-610-217-03 (2001 - superseded to 996-610-217-04)
996-610-217-04 (2002)
996-610-217-05 (2003-2004)

997-610-195-07 (2005-2008 - all previous versions have been superseded to the -07 part number)

If you wish to order one of these for your car (recommended), then simply punch the part number into our search engine located at the top of the screen.

Also, the appropriate Porsche part numbers for fuses are:

999-607-004-00 (5 amp)
999-607-083-00 (7.5 amp)
999-607-085-00 (15 amp)
999-607-087-00 (25 amp)
999-607-010-00 (30 amp)
996-610-214-00 fuse removal tool (seems to always to be missing).

IMS Kit will probably be available in March, but things are getting in the way of us doing more testing (we're swamped!).
