CDR-22 Stereo Code
Have had my 2002 Boxster S for about 2 months, just had the battery go dead and after much trouble getting the hood open (latch wouldn't release), I now need the code for the stereo.
Any Ideas? |
Your local dealer can get you the code if you give them your VIN. They have all of these in a database that they can look up. Typically they don't charge you for this...

Thanks so much Wayne, great book by the way, ordered it a week before I picked up the car, it has saved me a bunch of money already.

Bindy, there is a guy in the uk who will likely have the radio code, you need the serial number from the radio. To get it do the following..
For a CR-22/CDR-22 - Hold down the TP button for at least 10 seconds after you turn the radio on. "Becker 1" will be displayed. Rotate the right knob (slowly) and it will display the Becker model number. Then rotate it again and the serial number should be displayed on the radio. Or, if the radio is out of the car the then the serial number is on the label. drop me an email with the serial, and I'll try and get the code for you. Managed to get mine this way. I can also email a pdf of the user guide. |
This is the serial number.
W 5009412 raido serial for porsche. Could you send me the code. |
