Another AOS question on top of, I don't know how many.
I posted this question on my Diary of a 99 Boxster, with no replies. So here goes. I'm ordering parts to replace it and want to know if there is anything else I should get. My initial list is the AOS J Tube and Bellows. Already have the clamps and the O-Rings for the J-tube are in order. See diagram below. I need to get this ordered tomorrow. I tentatively have a 4 day weekend, next weekend. Perfect time to get her done.
Thanks, Randy

I'm pretty sure the new units come with the o-ring (#2) attached. The Bellows (#10) is a good bet. The o-rings for the tubes (#12) are a good replacement. Other than that, I can't think of much off the top of my head. Here's a link to my replacement article: Pelican Technical Article: Boxster Air / Oil Separator Replacement - 986 / 987

Wayne Thanks, I have read the article and have your book. Just want to make sure I do this once and done. While in there, the throttle body is coming off as well. I want the only smoke coming out of this car to be, my friends cigar smoke with the top down.

Hey Randy when I got my Aos part #10 and clamp came already attached, it was genuine porsche product. Im assuming yours should come the same way, all I bought extra was part #5 tube. Oh yea and a couple of vicodin back was a little sore.

Picked up my parts this morning and the bellows/part #10 was attached already. So I get to take the one I ordered with the AOS back.
Going to start on this later today/tonight. I have a four day weekend. So no rush. I'm going to pull the throttle body as well, while I'm in there. Thanks for the help gents. Randy PS, The lower clamp was not on it. Just slipped it on there. That was purchased separately.
