CR220 radio won't go into AUX mode?
I am trying to activate the AUX mode on my radio, by pressing the S button. There is no aux mode. I have enabled the AUX mode by pressing TP and changing AUX to on, with no luck.
What can cause this? Thanks. |
Hmm, if memory serves me correctly, the "S" button doesn't turn it on. I can't recall off the top of my head though, unless someone else pops in - I'll have to do some digging.

Here's how I remember the procedure:
Turn the radio on, hold down the TP button until “Becker 1” is displayed. Turn tuning knob until “AUX OFF” is displayed. Then arrow down and change it to “AUX ON” and turn the radio off. Good luck. |
Is there a hidden aux port someplace on the unit? I have this radio with the obsolete 10 disc changer in the front trunk and would use an aux if it's simply a matter of activating it.

aux_input There are also some aftermarket sellers. I think this one will work, but check with the seller: Amazon.com: PIE BLAU/8-POD Blaupunkt to iPod Dock Connector Cable Adapter: Electronics You will need to remove the radio which requires a set of keys that are available from Becker. |
I have enabled AUX mode by holding down the TP button and doing it there. However I don't know how to actually change the radio to be in AUX mode?
BTW, you do not need to remove the radio to insert the cable, though it helps. |

I have not personally inserted the cable without removing the head unit, but it is worth a try. If you have small fingers, you might be able to do it. |
I have the CDR-210. I assume it does NOT have the AUX option?

Sorry - I swapped my CDR 220 for a TrafficPro. I think you use the S button.

Tried every button a million times. Can't figure it out. :( Must be a problem with my head unit.

If you have a CD changer in the truck, you need to disconnect both the blue and green plugs from the back of the radio and then insert the 'new' blue plug with the aux cable attached to it.

I know its way past this post date but wanted to add an item for those folks that want to add Sirius AND an ipod. I used the aux cable that was listed above and put a splitter (bestbuy) to hookup both units. I turn off the Sirius when I want to used ipod and turn it on when I want radio (in aux mode). Regular radio works as normal.
