Boxster S Brake Flush Question
I have a 2006 Boxster S with the Brembo brakes.
The Brembo calipers have two bleed valves. They're both on top of the caliper with one on the inside and one on the outside of the caliper. Which bleed valve should be opened and bled first? I'm assuming it should be the outside one first. Is that correct? Thanks.

I always think "furthest from the master cylinder), so that would mean the outside bleeder valves first.
Regards, paul...

I think you need to do the inside bleeder first. If you don't you could push the air near the inside piston into the outside piston after it's already been bled. Then once the inside piston is done you're pushing fluid with no air into the outside piston to bleed that side. I had an old Corvette with the same setup and that's the way I did it. I believe it's different when doing the entire car because of the "T"s that are used in the brake lines. The calipers are more of an in-line setup.

Still Not Sure
I bled the calipers yesterday and they're fine. I checked other forums and there are conflicting opinions out there just like here.
I figured I had a 50/50 chance of being right so I went with the outside caliper first. The system had no air in it so everything is fine with the brakes. I wasn't able to find any info directly from Brembo or Porsche so we're still guessing. Maybe it really doesn't matter much unless there is a significant amount of air in the system. Still, it would be nice for all of us to know what the "official" answer is.
