Hmmm, my guess is that you haven't had the opportunity to drive a Boxster? Most people who actually drive them end up choosing them. In my opinion, there is no comparison between the two.

This is my first post.I have a question for someone. I have 99 boxster, about 60k mls it was running great, i turned it off and when i stwent to start it i heard a snap and the engine was locked up. I rolle the car back and forth and it turned over and started but something was broke , it sounded bad ,i turned it off and towed it home. Since then i changed ims bearing it still sounds bad, any suggestions? thks

Also when troblem occured i heard a snap, like a plastic gide for the timeing tensioner and there were no metal shavings in oil filter and the ims bearing was bad and i replaced it. Could it be the water pump? it is a stick 5 speed sounds like timing chain is slappen around
