starting problem
 
hello.
i have a boxster what wont start, first thought was the starter motor so i changed that no it still does the same (lights come on on dash but doesnt turn over) now every time i go to the car and try open it the alarm goes off and wont reset or anything, ive tried puting key in dor and lock and unlock with button press and nothing happened. and the bonnet wont open at all. can anyone help me?

Definitely an alarm problem, that was causing your starting issues. Did the alarm unit under your driver's seat get wet recently?

could be your battery. when they get old they sulfate the plates on the bottom and sort of short out. so if you don't get the proper voltage the car will not start. or what Wayne said. open the front trunk and try a new battery.
