Powser Steering Fluid Leak and Problem.

Hi Eveyone,

last week I experience a squeaking noise came from rear right wheel when back up the car from the garage to my drive way. As soon as turning steering wheel to drive the noise come back in fact everytime I make a turn squeaking noise come back specially on slow speed.

A local german merchanic said it steering rack "Out to Lunch", he said "I can refill power steering reservoir to get you by." anyways I paid $210 just to do that and the noise went away. Porshche dealer said it cost $2500 to replace. On the rear right wheel has oil/fluid leak on the rim.

Please, friends where do I refill the fluids and where's reservior. Can I replace the steering rack?

Thanks in advance.

PS: spent a night in the dog house (Her dog doesn't like me either and it cold).

the fluid on your right rear wheel should have nothing to do with power steering the pump is just to the left front of the engine and all the lines run along the left side to the front. you need to look up the procedure for taking off your engine cover, should be in your owners manual that is where your PS pump and tank are.
