Ray, what did you use to modify the top of your jack stands?

I'll copy this question to the forums, where perhaps Ray or someone else can comment. We also sell a set of flat-top jack stands which I prefer to use with all my cars: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/TOOL/POR_TOOL_ACHyd1_pg6.htm

By far, the cheapest and easiest mod for jack stands is a good old $1 hockey puck. Made out of decent quality rubber or synthetics, they are very durable, but will conform to any shape of stand or jack point on the car with out marring or ever slipping. We literally keep a couple dozen of them around the shop for jack stands, jacks, or even on the lift pads.

Thanks. Heading to WalMart now.
