2003 Boxster S with Dead radio with blinking LED

A few days ago I lowered the faceplate on my CDR220 and after that the radio will
not come on. No previous problem with radio or plate.
Fuse in main fusebox (D8..amp) is fine.
Unhooked battery, hoping to reset and then punch in radio code....no joy there either.
Pulled the radio to check for in line fuse but found none, all wire plugs in place.
I'm out of ideas her and could use some advice.

BTW... car also has the double beep intermittently upon lock/unlock. And is not currently
beeping.
Thanks
Rick

Wayne,
Happy New Year.
Thanks for reply. Car starts and runs fine, all locks work, all key functions fine.
Passenger side window does not inch down when door is opened.
And double horn beep when locking/unlocking doors comes and goes.
Don't understand looking to ignition switch for radio problem.
What is interlink?
Rick

Update: took time to read radio manual cover to cover... duh.
Found that fuse is 10amp and not in line but right next to plugset.
Pulled radio again, tested fuse (good) and pushed all the plugs back in firmly to
assure seating.
Put radio back in slot and keyed ignition.... voila... radio asking for codes.
So far so good. Did pull faceplate again to look for CD slot near cassette but no find (does it exist???) and radio went dead again...,Hmmmmm.... wiggled and pushed seated faceplate and "its alive"
I think its time to gently clean faceplate contacts.
