Need RMS removal tips
So I am doing the RMS and IMS, well working at it. Any good tips on removing the RMS?

I watched the mechanic change my RMS and he drilled a tap hole in it, screwed a screw in and pulled it out, by the screw, with a pair of pliers. Came right out.

Thanks Ronster, took a pilot drill bit on the dremel, slowly made a hole, sheet metal screw and pliers, then like magic it popped out.
RMS IMS swap saga continues..... Thanks again Ronster |
One thing to mention is that it is a good idea to protect the crankshaft surface so if the drill wanders that it does not make contact.
