Accessing door speakers?

I need to take a look at the GF's '02 Boxster door speakers. What's the procedure for removing the covers without damage?

there's a diy in the tech section on how to pull off the inner door panels. that will get you there and back.

If you end up removing the air bags in the door while taking the door panel off whatever you do don't turn the ignition on while it's disconnected. If you do you'll have to get the dealer to reset the airbag warning light. I had to pay $50 to get this done.

Thanks for the replies gents. Read the procedure in Wayne's book for removing the door panels. Both door speakers are non-functional so I figured I'd check the speakers before pulling the head unit.

User name Glademister. Word play on the area where I live.
